Saturday, July 22 2023, the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta has carried out a follow-up workshop regarding the creation of teaching materials and book chapters with the theme “Cultivating a Spirit of Togetherness and Kinship to Create a Superior, Intelligent Accounting Study Program” at the KHAS Hotel Malioboro Yogyakarta. Participants This workshop includes all teaching staff (lecturers) in the Accounting study program.
In this workshop activity, Prof. Dr. Markhamah, M.Hum as head of textbook development at the UMS Scientific Publication and Textbook Development Institute (LPPI) and has extensive experience in writing teaching materials.
Furthermore, Prof.Dr. Markhamah explained the steps for preparing textbooks, modules, diktats and a more detailed explanation of textbooks. Textbooks play a role for lecturers in providing opportunities to become effective facilitators so that the lecture teaching and learning process becomes active.
It is hoped that holding this workshop can provide knowledge and understanding for FEB UMS Accounting lecturers in preparing creative, innovative and up to date teaching materials.
